Peacefully Monday September 3rd at age 89. Cherished husband of Beverlee McIntosh, beloved father of Alanna MacDougall (James Bryant) and Colin MacDougall (Mélanie Broguet). Grandfather to Hugh James. Brother to Beth McDougall of Winnipeg. Graduate of St FX University, BA,1945, Trinity College, Dublin, MA,1957, Christ’s College, Cambridge, PhD, 1960. Special Thanks to James Noonan and Fr. John Dourley for their years of constancy while Alzheimer’s disease took its toll. Funeral Mass Friday September 14th at 5pm, at Canadian Martyrs Church (100 Main Street) preceded by visitation at the church from 4pm. Internment at the village of his birth, St. Barra’s Parish, Christmas Island, Nova Scotia.
