PRENDIVILLE, TIMOTHY PATRICK
Born on March 17, 1932 in County Kerry, Ireland, passed away on February 14, 2017.
Tim was ordained to the Catholic priesthood in 1956. He was invited to serve in the Diocese of Providence by then Bishop Russell J. McVinney. Tim served for ten years at St. Lucy's parish Middletown for ten years at St. Peter's in Warwick. He was assigned Pastor of St. Williams parish in Norwood in 1976.Tim left the diocese in 1978 for Tucson, Arizona where he married.
He is survived by his two children Brandon and Kate Campos and his grand children Gabriel and Annabelle.
Tim was instrumental in establishing the Emerald Isle Society of Tucson which raised funds to assist children of mentally handicapped parents. He also spent time working with the homeless. He never forgot that he was ordained to serve. Once you are a priest "you are a priest forever" (Ps.110:4) Tim was well loved and highly respected and appreciated wherever he served.His funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church on February 18.
