Edmund J. Vojtik
Vojtik, Edmund J. Of Waukesha. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016 at age 83. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy (nee Crowley), his step-daughter, Nancy Ellen "Nicki" Kane and his beloved parents, Edmund and Helen Vojtik. Loving brother of Fr. Jim Vojtik. Ed was loved and will be remembered by many cousins, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Ed's caregiver, Claudia (Philip) Barron for her loving and compassionate care and to Rachel Lewis for her gift of life in donating a kidney to Ed in 2004. Ed's family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, November 4th at ST. JOHN NEUMANN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2400 W. State Road 59, Waukesha, from 10AM-12noon. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 12noon. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ed's name may be made to St. John Neumann Parish, the Kidney Foundation, Evans Scholars Foundation, the Kettle Moraine School District Scholarship Foundation or the WI. Parkinson's Association. Ed was the recipient of the Evans Scholarship Award from Tripoli Country Club. Retired School Psychologist from the Kettle Moraine School District and a member of the Friends of Waukesha Public Library Executive Board of Directors and Wisconsin Parkinson Association for many years. Ed was a longtime mentor and tutor for hundreds of students in need.
Ed was ordained a priest for the Milwaukee Diocese.
