He then first worked as a sales clerk at the Sears Store in Midwest City and soon became an Allstate Insurance Agent in Edmond, OK until his retirement. Charlie continued to be very active in his local parish of St. John in Edmond, OK where he served for many years as the head of their RCIA program.

He was an Allstate Insurance Agent and was an active member of St. John’s serving as reader, Eucharistic Minister, Knights of Columbus member and RCIA Director.
