Rest in Peace

Patricia passed away at home with family on December 18, 2017. Born in Springfield, MA, of Ellen A. (Fitzgerald) and Edgar J. Bouchard, she was educated at St. Matthew School in Indian Orchard and graduated from Cathedral High School, College of Our Lady of the Elms in Chicopee, and Manhattan College in the Bronx. She devoted her life to her family and to teaching, first in several Springfield diocesan schools and later in Northampton and Springfield public schools. Patricia is survived by her sister, Mary V. Jacques; sons and daughters Matthew, Maureen, Andrew, and Kathleen; grandchildren Madeleine, David, Patrick, and Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased in 2010 by her husband, David, and by her siblings Edgar J. Bouchard, Richard F. Bouchard, and Janet M. Webster. At Patricia’s request, family will gather in remembrance at a later date and interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Springfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holyoke Hospice Life Care at 575 Beech St., Holyoke, MA 01040.

Pat and her late husband David were long time members of CORPUS and their efforts for a renewed and inclusive priesthood.
