REST IN PEACE
Charles A. Frazee (1929-2019)
Historian, Traveler, Artist, Beekeeper and Family Man passed from a life well-lived in his home on May, 14. A committed Catholic, he received all 7 sacraments. As a scholar on Church and Byzantine History, he taught at Marian College, Cal State Fullerton, USAF Academy and the Episcopal Theological Seminary. He wrote 11 books and many articles and cared deeply about ecumenism. As an engaged volunteer he served the community through the Fullerton Arboretum, Placentia Founders Society, and H.I.S. House. Charlie loved traveling, sunbathing, his family and Manhattans. Vigil service May 22 at 7 pm in McAulay & Wallace Mortuaries in Fullerton; Mass at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Placentia. In lieu of flowers please make gifts to Catholic Relief Services, Fullerton Arboretum, or H.I.S. House.
Charles and his wife Kathleen are long time members and supporters of CORPUS and an inclusive priesthood. Charles was ordained for Indianapolis IN. Diocese in 1955 and transitioned 1970. He married Kathleen Siegert in 1971. The couple have two daughters Sarah and Jill.
