MACKEY, John J. "Jocko" Of Arlington, March 26. Beloved and devoted husband of Sylvia (Patalano). Loving father of Kim Mackey of Los Angles, CA and Gail Nye and her husband Andy of Reading. Son of the late James and Grace Mackey. Brother of the late Grace Krebs. John is also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends. Relatives and friends are most respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass in St.Eulalia's Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester on Monday, March 30 at 10:30am. lnterment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Arlington. At the request of the family there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the MGH Development, Attn. Dr. David Ryan, 100 Cambridge St., Boston, MA 02114. John graduated from Mount St. Alfonsus in 1959 and proceeded to work in the Redemptorist Order in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic for 10 years. He received his Masters of Hospital Administration from Xavier University in 1973 and subsequently worked for Dr. Vincent Patalano at the Surgical Associates of Somerville for 30 years. He was an inspirational man and will be forever loved and sorely missed by many.
