REST IN PEACE
Lee George Ganim, passed away on June 5th at the age of 82. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on Sept 28, 1937, to the late George and Emily Ganim. He was blessed with one brother, Donald (Mary Ann) and three beautiful nieces Christine, Theresa and Stephanie. Lee was ordained a Maronite Catholic priest in 1963 and served as an Air Force Chaplain and Secretary to Archbishop Zayek.
He moved to Key Largo, Florida in 1971. There he met and married Roseann McGrath in 1974. In less than five years they were blessed with their four precious sons Steven, Daniel (Sharon) and grandson Christian, son, Gregory (Megan) and grandchildren, Bentley and Alexis, and son, Dominic. While living in Key Largo, Lee served the community in many different positions. He was Chairman of the School Board, President of the Board of Realtors, Owner of Ganim’s Realty, Owner of Ganim’s Restaurants, Member of the Board of Community Bank, and an active member of St. Justin Martyr Church. He and Roseanne moved to Port St. Lucie in 2004.
A Memorial Mass in celebration of Lee’s life will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church St. Lucie, Florida on June 27, 2020 @11:00 am. There will be a reception after the service, which will take place at the clubhouse of Hammock Cove in Port Saint Lucie. The address for the reception will be provided at the service.
Due to COVID-related distancing requirements, the church is only permitted to allow a maximum of 140 people to attend the service. As such, should you desire to attend the service please be kind enough to reach out to us at your earliest convenience at the following email address:

Lee joined CORPUS in 1976 and had a very active marriage ministry in Florida.
