John Andrew Ilg, 92, of Beaverton, Oregon, passed away April 26, 2021 surrounded by family.
He was born in Franklin, Nebraska on April 6, 1929 to Joe and Josepha Ilg. John worked as a pastor for 32 years before entering into Farming which he truly loved.
John is survived by his wife, Marie Ilg of Beaverton; two brothers, Tony Ilg (Dorothy) of Mt. Angel; and Mike Ilg of Arizona; along with other relatives and friends.
John was ordained for Diocese of Portland Maine in 1956 and transitioned from the priesthood in 1989. He married Marie, a Benedictine Sister in 1990.
John was an active CORPUS member.
