CONNOR JOHN (JACK) PATRICK CONNOR, age 91. Beloved husband of Rose Mary (nee Timko); loving father of Michael, Patrick and Jack and of Lauren Ashburn Dueffert (Paul); loving grandparent of Jack, Juliette and Samantha Dueffert. Dear brother of Raymond (Matilda) and Catherine Lavelle (James deceased) and Eileen (deceased); son of the late Raymond and Catherine (nee Healy). Passed away Monday, September 14, 2015. Fought in World War II with the Eighth Air Corps as a B-17 waist-gunner/ radio-operator. Earned a degree in business administration from Ohio State, a Doctor of Law from Cleveland Marshall Law School, a Masters in Philosophy from Laval University, Quebec, and a Masters in Theology from St. Mary's Seminary. He was an avid reader and loved family and social gatherings. Jack served as a priest in the Diocese of Cleveland from 1959-1968 at St. Ignatius Parish and St. Paul Shrine. Jack received dispensation from the Vatican in 1973. A man of great faith, love and wisdom, Jack loved his country, his family and God above all. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernadette Church, 2256 Clague Rd., Westlake, OH Friday, Sept. 18 at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon, OH. Family will receive friends at CATAVOLOS-BERRY FUNERAL HOME, 23040 CENTER RIDGE RD., WESTLAKE, OH, THURSDAY, SEPT. 17 FROM 2-4 AND 6-8 P.M.
