James L. Finnerty spent many years as a priest in with the Society of Jesus, including working in the missions in Korea. He eventually met and married Suja Pak, settling in Arlington Heights, IL. They had two children, Patricia S. (Michael) Fasciotti and James X. Finnerty. After leaving active ministry, James was very active in WEORC as it was beginning. James died in June, 2005 at the age of 78.
The celebration of Christian Resurrection was celebrated on Tuesday, June 21st, 9:30 am, at Our Lady of the Wayside, 932 Park St., Arlington Hts.
