Vincent A. Cinque, 83, of Naples Fl passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at Naples Community Hospital. Formerly of Lynbrook, NY he had been a resident of Naples since 1999.

He was born January 30, 1928 a son of the late Andrew and Maria (Borghina) Cinque. Mr. Cinque initiated the Centering Prayer Group at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was also a member of CERT at the North Naples Fire Department. Vincent was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening. He was an active member of the Long Island Rose Society in New York.

Vincent is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Eileen T. (Milner) Cinque; loving son, Michael Cinque; brothers, Nicholas (Carmella) Cinque, Anthony (Ellen) Cinque, Alphonse Cinque; sister, Mary (James) Biondo; and cherished granddaughter, Kayla Cinque. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ralph, Peter, Joseph and Mark.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 625 111th Avenue North, Naples, FL 34108.

Vincent was ordained for Diocese of Brooklyn in 1954 and he transitioned from the priesthood 1969.  He married Eileen in 1971
