REST IN PEACE
On April 7, 2019 Dr. Lawrence B. Dietrich, Jr. died peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, Nannette Dietrich and children, Joseph Campanella, Constance Harey, N. Corey Campanella, Michael Campanella, Martin Campanella, and John Campanella and the late Carrie Becker; dear brother of Maryann Van Camp of Washington and the late Ray Dietrich. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Larry grew up in Philadelphia, PA then joined the Navy, after that, he became a Jesuit and spent 20 years in the missions in India. Larry received his masters at the Johns Hopkins University and a doctorate degree at the George Washington University. He opened a clinic, Christian Counselors, where he worked for over 10 years before his retirement.
Family and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. 610 W. MacPhail Rd. Bel Air, MD 21014 on Thursday 3-5 and 7-9 PM and on Friday at St. Ignatius Church 533 E. Jarrettsville Rd. Forest Hill, MD 21050 on Friday from 10 to 11 AM. Memorial Mass to begin at 11 AM.

Lawrence was ordained a Jesuit in 1961 and transition in 1973 and married Nannette in 1974.
