SCHOENENBERGER, PAUL Nov. 25, 1921 to Feb. 19, 2003.  Paul Schoenenberger, 81, of Bonita CAdonna, died Wednesday, February 19, 2003 in Switzerland. He was born in Alt St. Johann, Switzerland. Survivors include his wife, Donna. He has 3 brothers and 2 sisters living in Switzerland. Services will be Saturday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m., St. Rose of Lima Church, located at 3rd and H St. in Chula Vista.

Paul was ordained in 1952 and transition and married in 1973

Donna Schoenenberger of North Canton, OH passed away on April 25, 2021 at Inn at Whitewood. She was born on October 5, 1929 in Canton, OH. In 1973 she married Paul Schoenenberger and together they shared 29 years of marriage. She entered the Sisters of Humility of Mary in 1948, she was a teacher and principal in both Ohio and Pennsylvania for many years. Later she moved to California where she was a guidance counselor for 20 years. Donna loved to travel around the world with her husband, sisters and friends. She is remembered as a woman of grace, kindness and class- like a rose even when surrounded by life's thorns.

"She is preceded in death by her husband Paul Schoenenberger, parents William and Catherine Cook, her sister Carol Colaner and brothers in law William Colaner and Emory Crawford. She is survived by her sister Coletta Crawford, many nieces, nephews, and friends who loved her dearly. Her family is forever grateful to the staff, employees and residents at the Inn and Whitewood who shared their love and time with her as well as the team at Crossroads Hospice.
