Robert Francis Lemon of Milwaukee died on December 18 in that city. He was ordained a priest in the mid-1950's after studying at St. Mary's Seminary in Norwood, Ohio. He served his first Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Houghs Neck, MA on June 5. 1955. He became pastor of several parishes in the Columbus, Ohio area and taught at local Catholic high schools within Columbus. Following a dispensation, he married and lived in Wisconsin.
 
Mr. Lemon was a graduate of Boston College High School and Boston College.

He served in the Navy during World War II as radioman, first class, aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Chicopee. He later served as a Navy chaplain aboard the USS Wasp.

He is survived by his wife, Marianne Lemon of Milwaukee, a brother and two sisters from Massachusetts.
