Magdziak, John

Annandale, NJ, May 13, 2001

John Magdziak, 54,  died on Sunday,  May 13, 2001 at his home in Annandale NJ.  He was the vice president of administration for Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Newark.

He also was a former priest in the Diocese of Trenton.

Mr. Magdziak served as principal of St. John Vianney School, Holmdel, and
formerly taught at St. Pius the X School, Piscataway, NJ.

He received a bachelor’s degree from St. Mary Seminary and University in
Baltimore, attended Immaculate Conception Seminary, Darlington, NJ, and received and a master’s in education administration from Fordham University.

Born in Jersey City, he lived in Raritan and Holmdel before moving to Annandale.

Surviving are Roberta, his wife of 12 years, and sisters, Mrs. Mary B. Carra,
Mrs. Joann Slagle and Cecilia Magdziak.  May he rest in peace.
