Ed earned the title Father in multiple ways: by ordination, four biological children, two adopted children, sixty-five pre-adoptive children. He was a social worker for Milwaukee County for twenty-four years. Ed and Kathy’s family was named “Family of the Year for Milwaukee County” in1987. Kathy chose the word “stewardship” to characterize Ed’s ministry. “He couldn’t do enough for people; he was always helping, always giving,” Kathleen said.
