Gary E. Balcom, 55, of Framingham, a former priest in South Shore parishes, died. Mr. Balcom was a priest for 25 years. He left the priesthood in 2000 and was working as a bookkeeper at Home Depot in Natick, MA.
Born in Weymouth, he lived in Braintree for many years before moving to Framingham, MA in 2000. He attended Archbishop Williams High School and graduated from St. John's Seminary in Brighton, MA.
He is survived by two brothers, Donald and Eugene. A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, Braintree, MA.
