REST IN PEACE
MICHAEL MOAKLERMichael J. Moakler, age 91, of Namquid Drive, Warwick, died on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. He was the husband of the late Eleanor (Travers) Moakler.

Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, a son of the late James J. and Anna (Ryan) Moakler, he lived in Warwick since 1977.

Mr. Moakler was a teacher at Central High School and Classical High School in Providence before retiring. He was an active parishioner at St. Timothy Church in Warwick.

He is survived by a brother, Gerard Moakler of Kennebunkport, Maine; and two sisters, Mary Watters and Catherine Caufield of New Jersey.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 6, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Timothy Church, 1799 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours are omitted. In lieu of flowers, contributions made in his memory to St. Timothy Church would be appreciated.
