Murray J Elwood died on Nov. 5, 2003, of Strafford, PA., beloved husband of Sylvia Brownell Elwood, loving brother of David M. (Carol) Elwood; also survived by his nephew Robert M. (Amelia Withington) Elwood, and his niece Mary Katherine (Naoyoshi Hikosaka) Elwood. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass Mon. Nov. 10, 11 A.M. St. Thomas of Villanova Church (University Campus), Villanova, PA. Int. private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Thomas of Villanova Parish, 1229 W. Elwood was ordained for the Syracuse Diocese in 1954. He transitioned from the priesthood in 1981 and married Sylvia Brownell in 1983. He attended the New York conference in 1991.
