Kevin Coyle, a married priest and a Professor of Theology - Saint Paul University, Ottawa, died suddenly from a heart attack at his home, Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at age 67. Beloved husband of Carol Olson. Loving brother of Erin, Brian, Terry, Danny, Kathy, Beth, Janice, Greg, Fergus and Brendan. Will be lovingly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Kevin was born on April 25, 1943, in Iroquois Falls, Ontario, the eldest of eleven children. He decided to enter the Augustinian minor seminary which lead him to ordination. He left the active priesthood and married Carol Olson. When he died they had been married for 21 years. However,during this time he continued to teach at St. Paul University, Ottawa, Ontario.
Friends are invited to visit at Canadian Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, 100 Main Street, Tuesday, October 26, after 10 am. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Kevin may be made to the Parkinson's Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
