REST IN PEACE

Adolph Daniel Anderson was born in Ross, CA and spent the majority of his childhood in San Francisco. He entered the seminary at age 15, and was ordained a priest in 1959. After twelve years as a priest for the Archdiocese of San Francisco, he fell in love with an Immaculate Heart nun from Los Angeles. They were married in 1971 and were blessed with three children. Adolph (known to many as "Andy") was a teacher in Aromas for 20 years before retiring from public education. He was an active part of Holy Eucharist Catholic Community in Corralitos and Resurrection Parish in Aptos. He departed this world peacefully on December 4, 2020, cared for by the gracious staff at Maple House II and Hospice of Santa Cruz County. Adolph is survived by his wife Virginia, and his three children and their spouses: Christina and Brad Neuschwanger of Ft. Collins, Colorado; Dan and Hana Anderson of Bellingham, Washington; and Mary and Mark Sandman of Watsonville, CA. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Julia, Aidan, Emma, Evelyn, Jace, Cavan, and Savanna. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to IF, a non-profit organization (and mailed to 160 Sunflower Lane Watsonville, CA 95076) or you can donate online by visiting http://www.integrities.org/donate.html.
